It is a true greens powder formula that you can mix in juice or water. There are approximately 40 different ingredients, almost all of which make up the proprietary greens blend. This All Day Energy Greens review will give you the information you need to make and educated decision.

SUPERFOODS
The ingredient list that makes up ADEG are really phenomenal nutrients and certainly carry very positive health benefits. Lecithin, Alfalfa, Barley, Aloe, to name a few, are staple nutrients found in most green drinks and superfood drinks.
According to their label, one serving is 10.6 grams or about a tablespoon. Their label also claims that 1 tablespoon exceeds the nutritional equivalent of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. I’m not sure if 10 grams is going to provide you the equivalent of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables but ADEG has a serious list of powerful superfoods and 10 grams per serving is better than most.

NUTRITIONAL PANEL
The superfood panel is really the entirety of this product. They added vitamins C & E which is excellent but I wish they would have included probiotics. Friendly bacteria promotes healthy intestinal flora and most of the powerhouse superfood drinks include a probiotics panel. Compare with the Total Living Drink Greens or Athletic Greens, both of which have a solid probiotic and digestive enzyme panel.
What about the “all day energy” claim? First a word about energy…
True “energy” is something created internally on a cellular level as opposed to brought into the body externally. Most people have it backwards. They think that drinking a cup of coffee or shooting a 5 Hour Energy is providing them energy. These are stimulating the body to secrete adrenaline in the bloodstream buy using chemical stimulants like caffeine.
The only way to create real energy is to feed the cells nutrient-dense calories. In turn, the cells produce energy to the body –one of their main functions.
That being said, ADEG does have quality ingredients and the nutrients are helpful to the body and will feed the cells nutrient-dense calories –which in turn will promote natural energy. But will it provide you an entire day’s worth of energy? Each serving is only 34 calories. It is the opinion of this website that 34 calories -regardless of how nutrient-dense – will not provide an entire day’s worth of energy. But ADEG will certainly help!

TASTE
So how does ADEG taste? This is where All Day Energy Greens shines. One of the biggest challenges of making a superfood drink is getting it to taste good. Broccoli, spinach, kale and wheat grass are downright stubborn when it comes to masking their earthy and poignant flavors. And spirulina, though one of the healthiest foods on the planet, is among the foulest tasting. ADEG kind of has a fruity taste and does not overwhelm you. The texture is not bad and it mixes well with a shaker. (I use a blender.) I mixed it first with water, then with various juices. ADEG is a very drinkable superfood drink. (Believe me, I’ve had some superfood drinks that are not.)
Many good-intentioned people struggle with the taste of green drink powders. Our suggestion is to mix your favorite powder in with some organic juices, fresh fruits and veggies and even some sugar-free yogurt. If you are trying to lose weight you can even make the perfect weight loss smoothie as a meal replacement.
If you really struggle with the taste of ADEG, try Athletic Greens… we feel the best tasting green drink.

VALUE
All Day Energy Greens is a very good value at around $1.33 per serving.
You are getting 10.6 grams of nutrition in each serving. At $40 for a 1-month supply or 30 servings, that breaks down to $1.33 per serving. Check out other products that I’ve reviewed on this site and you will see that ADEG is a top-tier product in terms of value. There are a few products that provide more nutrition and other categories of nutrition then ADEG like Total Living Drink Greens and Athletic Greens. I think ultimately they carry a higher value because you get more per serving than ADEG but they also carry a higher price tag.
At $39.99 per canister, and even lower if you buy in quantity, All Day Energy Greens is a very good value.

Pros:
- Quality nutrients make up the blend of greens
- It tastes very good for a green superfood drink powder

- It’s impossible to determine how much of each nutrient is contained in the product because they list all the ingredients in a “proprietary blend” format
- It does not contain probiotics as some of the “top-shelf” superfood drinks do
SUMMARY
ADEG is an excellent choice for a superfood drink -especially for those on a tight budget. It tastes very good and at $39.99 it seems to be affordable compared to many other superfood drinks and green drinks. Use it as a supplement to ensure you are getting all your fruits and veggies or even consider mixing it into a smoothie you can use for health or weight loss.
I took ADEG every day for about two-weeks. I felt good but I’ve been taking superfood drinks for nearly 10 years. I’m not the best test subject. For someone who is engaged in the Standard American Diet (SAD), eating foods that are nutrient depleted and riddled with chemicals, they should feel a huge spike of energy when taking All Day Energy Greens.

Thank you for your comments and questions. THe ideal choice for an all-around superfood drink would be #1 Kylea’s Total Living Drink Greens or #2 Living Fuel Super Greens. You’re splitting hairs over which one is better. They are very similar and both superb. I personally take the Kylea’s TLD Greens.

The ADEG people claim that it will reduce acid in your cells which will then allow you to lose weight. The claim is that this was based on a Harvard study. What do you think of this claim?
I just finished chemo, radiation & herceptin in dec 2014…..now on hormones. Also taking, blood thinners, bp pills, colesteral pills, and topomax. Cannot take anything with grapefruit in it. Does this have that in it?? Thank you.

I have problems with loose stools whenever I eat too much roughage. I do not want to buy something that will taste bad ( I do not like vegetables ) or give me the runs. Is there a way to try a sample. If it works I can order the more cans. I also do not do fruit drinks because of the sugar in them. So what else can it go into? I am close to 60 and want more energy so I can exercise better.

Another website claims that All Day Energy Greens contain way too much lead to be acceptable. Do you think this is correct?

You are referring to the oppressive Proposition 65 law that applies only to the state of California. If you were to take 100 different green drink brands and conducted these tests the vast majority would test for “unacceptable” levels of one of these heavy metals. Here’s what’s been happening… a California lawyer will order a green drink product online, have it shipped to a California address and conduct these prop 65 tests on it and when the product fails the test will then file a law suit against the manufacturer based on failing to meet the prop 65 label warning law. Never mind that 49 other states do not have this oppressive law, this manufacturer such as IVL (All Day Energy Greens) or Vibrant Health (Green Vibrance) will be forced to pay thousands of dollars and put a Prop 65 warning on their label if they want to continue selling products to California customers. In our opinion, this is a scam of grand proportions. Lawyers in California have generated around $150,000,000 in legal fees so far since 2,000. I just received my order . The taste is good better than I thought but it does not dissolve in water it is gritty but I still like it. My two year old grandson loves it. But of course he likes veggies instead of meat .

I was a little surprised at your assessment of the taste. When I opened the container the smell was so strong. It literally smelled like fresh lawn clippings. The taste, to me, wasn’t any better. I returned it for a refund without any games or hassles. Obviously taste is a very subjective thing and I agree with your statement that newbies to green drinks should try the highest rated taste products first to avoid disappointment.
